Ronald J. Friedman is regarded as a leading practitioner representing trustees and creditors in bankruptcy cases and other clients, out-of-court restructurings, and creditors’ rights controversies. He provides comprehensive legal guidance to SilvermanAcampora’s clients in workouts, restructurings, bankruptcies, liquidations, distressed debt transactions, acquisitions, and a variety of complex litigation scenarios.  In addition to his substantial restructuring experience, Mr. Friedman has counseled clients in the telecommunications, real estate, and equipment leasing industry in all facets of their corporate operations. Mr. Friedman has also lectured for the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Friedman is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America as an Eagle Scout and Board Member of the Theodore Roosevelt Council of Boy Scouts serving over 12,000 youth in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York. He is general counsel to, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Long Island Wrestling, a not-for-profit corporation. He also serves on the pro bono panel of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
