EDWARD M. FLINT
Mr. Flint represents purchasers and sellers of assets and businesses, owners in the restructuring of their businesses, debtors, creditors committees and chapter 11 bankruptcy trustees and has broad experience in the representation of lenders, borrowers and landlords in commercial and real estate loan workouts and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Flint also has over twenty years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including detection and prosecution of fraud and the recovery of assets. Mr. Flint is active in local civic and charitable organizations, including the Long Island Association. Mr. Flint practices primarily in the areas of corporate restructing and insolvency, complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Flint received his Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982 and was the Editor-in-Chief of the Buffalo Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Queens College in 1979. Mr. Flint is admitted to practice law in the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has widely lectured and written articles on issues arising under the Bankruptcy Code and New York State Debtor and Creditor Law. Mr. Flint is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a member of its Real Estate and Trade Creditors Committees. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and is a past Chairman of the Banking, Commercial and Corporation Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
