ADAM L. ROSEN

PRACTICE
Adam L. Rosen practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights, business reorganization and restructuring. Mr. Rosen represents creditors, creditors' committees and debtors in a wide variety of chapter 11 cases. He also represents trustees and plan fiduciaries in liquidation and reorganization cases.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Mr. Rosen is an author for the Collier Bankruptcy Practice Guide, a member of the Board of Contributors to The Bankruptcy Strategist and an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law. He is a past member of the Committee on Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (1997-2000), a member of the panel of mediators for the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Delaware and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has written numerous articles on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy issues and lectured on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy topics at continuing legal education programs. Mr. Rosen is a member of the Board of Directors of the City Parks Foundation and is an active fundraiser for Children's Cause for Cancer Advocacy.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE
From 1986 through 1990, Mr. Rosen practiced with Michaelson, Susi & Michaelson in Santa Barbara, California. From 1990 through 1992, Mr. Rosen practiced in the business reorganization and restructuring department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York City.

BAR ADMISSIONS
Mr. Rosen is admitted to practice in New York and California.

EDUCATION
Mr. Rosen is a 1980 magna cum laude graduate, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a 1984 graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Law, where he was a member of the Environs Environmental Law & Policy Journal.
